European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

The ECDL from the British Computer Society (BCS) is recognised internationally by computer users everywhere. It is made up of seven modules that cover key concepts of computing, its practical applications, and using computers at work and in the home. At the end of each module is an online test that you can take at a Head to Head Training centre. Each module takes about 15 hours to complete and the ECDL Certificate will be awarded once all seven modules are passed.

Before taking tests you can enrol onto Prepare for the ECDL course, which contains practical tests to let you know when you’re ready to take a test.

Just want to take a test or only do training without tests?

Head to Head Training is an accredited Test Centre. We can offer the ECDL tests separately if required. Alternatively, if learning without testing is required, the training courses can be taken alone.

People on the ECDL will need a logbook into which test passes are recorded and confirmed.
