e2e FAQ’s

Q. What is the e2e Programme about?

A. The e2e programme is designed for young people aged 16-18 who want to develop their interests, maximise their skills and get help to progress to an Apprenticeships, Further Education or a job, preferably with training leading to a Level 2 qualification.

e2e is your chance to make a success of your future even if you didn't do well at school

Q. What training will I receive on the e2e Programme?

A. Training aims to improve motivation and confidence whilst developing basic and personal skills.

The main elements of training are IT, music technology, multi-media including the use of digital cameras and camcorders. We also cover the development of skills for life (literacy and numeracy), communications, team working, citizenship and employment skills.

The programme also includes other optional elements such as Work Tasters and Work Placements and Cultural Activities. Because we belong to a network of training providers we are able to link you to the training you want to do.

Q. How long can I stay on the Programme?

A. On average 22 weeks - The first 4 weeks are your induction and assessment time. After assessment you choose the subjects and assignments you want to explore. We then aim to move you on to your next step, which could be Further Education, an Apprenticeship or we will help you find a job. The choice is yours.

Q. Will I receive a training allowance?

A. Yes. You can receive an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of £30.00 per week to allow you to concentrate on your studying and not worry over money. The Head to Head Training e2e programme also offers an EMA bonus scheme where you can receive payments based on achievements. You can receive £25.00 for signing and agreeing to the e2e agreement, £25.00 on achieving a learning goal, such as a qualification in Numeracy or Literacy, £25.00 for successful completion of you programme and a £50.00 bonus if you go on to an apprenticeship, college or into employment.
